General Requirements

1. Must Maintain a Ph.D., Masters Degree, Bachelors Degree
or other specialized training.

2. Must have 2 yr. experience documented by a supervisor or board member

3. Must earn 20 CEU's that relates to the designations scope of practice from any approved CEU provider

4. You or the organization you work for must be affiliated with a professional organization. (NASW, Heartbeat Int., NCC, State Lic. Board)

You will be mailed a (8x11 wall size) Certificate of Specialized Training in your area of concentrated study.

The Advanced Designations are meant to give recognition for those who have a concentration of study when earning their CEU's during their renewal period. Proof of CEU training must be maintained. Other CEU trainings are accepted if a Certificate of Completion has been awarded through a professional CEU provider.

Prerequisite: Bachelors Degree in Family Studies and Human Services or Licensed Social Worker in states that have Social Work licensure.

Prerequisite: BA in Social Work, Licensed Social Worker or other approved Specialized Training.

ASPP-Accredited Suicide Prevention Professional
Prerequisite: Licensed Master Social Worker or other Masters level related profession.
30 ce hr/2yr

AGP- Accredited Gerontology Professional
Prerequisite: Bachelors Degree in Family Studies and Human Services, Sociology, RN or Licensed Social Worker in states that have Social Work licensure.
